Il doit maintenant choisir entre la l’Equinox Solid, la Hy-Road 40 ou encore la RST Hyperdrive Pearl. S’il préfère, il peut choisir LA boule du catalogue Storm, Roto Grip et 900 Global qui fera son affaire.

Bien qu’il n’ait pas été annoncé officiellement, le Tirage #3 est lancé. Déjà quelques participations ont été vendues. Congratulations to Mr. Jean Quenneville from the Salon de Quilles Le Dallo in Chicoutimi. He is the winner of the Storm Raffle #2. He must now choose between the Equinox Solid, the Hy-Road 40 or the RST Hyperdrive Pearl. If he prefers, he can pick any Storm, Roto Grip or 900 Global current ball.

Although it hasn’t been officially announced, Raffle #3 has started. A few entries have already been sold. If you are interested, the rules remain the same: 50 entries at $20 each paid via e-Transfer to [email protected] or in cash if you meet me or to Chantal at Le Dallo.

Le Montagnais, our affiliated hotel, hosted the 15th edition of the “La Soirée des Ambassadeurs” (Ambassadors’ Night), which theme this year was “Our Experience Creators.” For the third consecutive year, the Challenge printanier received an award for its contribution to promoting the city of Saguenay. It was with great pride that I accepted this award alongside Jean-Denis Larouche (partner – SIMA Pro Jonquière), Mélanie Poulin (manager of Resto Chez Mel at the Coopérative Le Dallo) and Patrick Girard (general manager of the Coopérative Le Dallo).

It is because of you all (participants, family and friends) that the Challenge printanier is the premier event of our bowling season. Rest assured that every effort is made to make your experience just as memorable each year. Thanks for your trust!

English below – Ce couple charmant ne calcule pas les heures passées au Dallo chaque jour du Challenge printanier. Depuis trois ans, Monsieur Bernard et Madame Claude sont à la table des inscriptions pour les pots individuels et la partie mystère en équipe. Leur travail est d’une minutie chirurgicale afin d’assurer que tout balance et que chaque enveloppe soit prête à remettre aux différents gagnants. Puis, ils sont toujours prêts à donner un coup de main si un besoin surgit. Leur présence est synonyme de paix d’esprit. Je les remercie très sincèrement.

This charming couple spends countless hours at the Dallo each day of the Challenge printanier. For the past three years, Mr. Bernard and Mrs. Claude have been at the registration table for the individual pot games and the mystery game. Their meticulous work ensures that everything balances and that each envelope is ready to be handed to the all the winners. They are always ready to give a hand if a need arises. Their presence is rhymes with peace of mind. I thank them very sincerely.

English below – Le Challenge printanier 2025 s’est amorcé hier (19 avril) à la Coopérative Le Dallo de Chicoutimi avec la présentation de la ronde régionale. Et, c’est maintenant une tradition… La fameuse photo de famille. Merci à vous tous d’avoir foulé les allées du Dallo.

Félicitations à l’équipe Team PLuc Larouche qui a remporté le prix de la meilleure équipe de cette ronde pour une deuxième année consécutive. Junior Bilodeau, Pierre-Luc Larouche, Gwendal Joliff et Jeantony Gagné mirent la main sur une bourse de 200$ offerte par Les Spécialités Méchoui Mailloux et SIMA Pro Jonquière. Également, quatre cartes-cadeaux de 50$ gracieuseté du casse-croûte La Bonne Patate furent tirées au sort parmi tous les participations.

The 2025 Challenge printanier kicked off yesterday (April 19) at the Coopérative Le Dallo in Chicoutimi with the presentation of the regional round. And, it’s now a tradition… The famous family photo. Thank you all for stepping onto the lanes.

Congratulations to Team PLuc Larouche who won the award for the best team of this round for a second straight year. Junior Bilodeau, Pierre-Luc Larouche, Gwendal Joliff and Jeantony Gagné got their hands on $200 sponsored by Les Spécialités Méchoui Mailloux and SIMA Pro Jonquière. Also, four $50 gift cards courtesy of the La Bonne Patate snack bar were drawn among all the entries.

English below – Le 30 octobre dernier, Promotion Saguenay a tenu à souligner le rayonnement de 87 organisations sportives, culturelles et professionnelles lors de la Soirée des Ambassadeurs. Pour une deuxième année consécutive, le Challenge printanier fut invité à participer à cette soirée reconnaissance. Avec un peu plus de 200 quilleurs provenant de l’extérieur de la région, l’apport économique du Challenge printanier à la ville de Saguenay est indéniable. Le pièce de casse-tête 2024 vient donc s’emboîter à celle de 2023.

Présents à cette soirée : Patrick Girard (directeur général de la Coopérative Le Dallo), Guillaume Nadeau (directeur du Challenge printanier), Jean-Denis Larouche (grand ami et bénévole du tournoi) et Mélanie Poulin (responsable administrative et restauration du Dallo).

Assurant le fort afin d’accueillir tout ce beau monde de différentes provinces canadiennes et de New York, nous désirons remercier l’Hôtel Le Montagnais. On October 30, Promotion Saguenay highlighted the contribution of 87 sports, cultural and professional organizations during the Soirée des Ambassadeurs. For a second straight year, the Challenge printanier was invited to join this special dinner. With just over 200 bowlers from outside the region, the economic contribution of the Challenge printanier to the city of Saguenay is undeniable. The 2024 puzzle piece now fits perfectly into the 2023 one.

After a lightning sale of 100 tickets, it is none other than Mario Dusseault from Sorel who got his hands on this magnificent package of three nights and four days at the Pourvoirie Mont-Valin du Archer Outfitter. Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket. The draw was made immediately after the regional round on April 20 at the Salon de Quilles Le Dallo in Chicoutimi.

The first round of the 2024 Challenge printanier was eagerly awaited. It was with great excitement that we welcomed bowlers from the beautiful Saguenay-Lac-Jean region today (April 20). We look forward to seeing you next Friday (26 April) for three more action-packed days. Thanks to the Salon de Quilles Le Dallo in Chicoutimi for hosting this stellar tournament.

Le Challenge printanier remercie chaleureusement Caroline Lagrange de Buffa Distribution pour le design du logo officiel du tournoi. Nous y reconnaissons « le petite maison blanche » qui survécut au déluge du Saguenay en 1996. Les lignes courbes représentent les vagues de la Rivière Saguenay et du Lac St-Jean. Le bleu rappelle l’eau et le bleuet, fruit emblématique de la région.

Également, nous remercions Mark Buffa et Luis Rodriguez pour le précieux coup de main apporté à la création de ce nouveau site Internet et pour l’hébergement. Sans vous, ce projet en serait encore au stade d’une belle idée.

The Challenge printanier would like to thank Caroline Lagrange at Buffa Distribution for designing the official logo of the tournament. We recognize the “little white house” that survived the Saguenay flood in 1996. The curves represent the Saguenay River and the Lake St-Jean. The colour blue is reminiscent of the water and the blueberry, the emblematic fruit of the region.

Also, big shout out to Mark Buffa and Luis Rodriguez for their invaluable help in the creation of this new website and for hosting it. Without you, this project would still be at the stage of being just a great idea.
